Chemistry students present at Scholarship Sewanee

Several students from the Chemistry Department presented oral and poster presentations at Scholarship Sewanee on April 25, 2014. Eleven poster presentations and one oral presentation were given. Abby Bray mentored by Dr. Emily White won second place in the Physical Sciences division with her poster "Presence of Parmaceuticals and Personal Care Products in Sewanee's Treated Wastewater." David Dan and Daniel Myers mentored by Dr. Phil Byers won second place in the Physical Sciences division with their poster "Synthesis of Acene Cyclophanes: A New Class of Organic Semiconducting Materials."  Poster presentations from Chemistry students include the following:
