Dr. L. Seballos collaborates at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, US Department of Energy

Pacific NorthWest National Laboratories

Dr. L. Seballos spent his summer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a visiting faculty researcher collaborating with scientists to model the behavior of molecules on the surface of metal nanostructures.  His project involved analyzing the light signals scattered by the molecules on the surface of the metal.  By understanding the behavior of molecules on the surface, he and his collaborators hope to gain insight on the effectiveness of the nanostructures in applications which include catalysis, chemical detection, and chemical purification processes.
